Medical Education Empowered By Theatre/MEET

MEET é o  acrônimo para Medical Education Empowered By Theater. Trata-se de uma metodologia ativa de ensino-aprendizagem que foi pensada para o aprimoramento da comunicação e para promover a humanização de profissionais do campo da saúde. A princípio, voltada para a formação de médicos(as), atualmente MEET abrange demais formações como enfermagem, fonoaudiologia, fisioterapia, farmácia, psicologia, dentre outras.

MEET is the acronym for Medical Education Empowered By Theater. It is an active teaching-learning methodology that was designed to improve communication and promote the humanization of professionals in the health field. Initially aimed at training doctors, MEET currently covers other training courses such as Nursing,  Speech-therapy, Kinesiology, Rehabilitation Medicine,Physical Disabilities, Pharmacy, Psychology, among others.

 

MEET se baseia na educação dialógica de Paulo Freire (1996) e nos jogos teatrais de Augusto Boal (2014) e foi concebida por uma equipe transdisciplinar formada pelos artistas cênicos Adilson Doniseti Ledubino, Letícia Rodrigues Frutuoso e Nadia Morali, pelos médicos Marco Antônio Carvalho Filho, Flávio César de Sá, Venâncio Pereira Dantas Filho e Marcelo Schweller, por uma artista da dança e pedagoga, Márcia Strazzacappa,  todos/as formados/as (graduação e pós-graduação) pela Unicamp e atuantes por mais de quinze anos com a referida metodologia dentro e fora da instituição. Somaram-se a esse grupo, o ator Dirceu de Carvalho, os médicos Thiago Santos, Jamiro Wanderley e a médica Tatiana Ozahata.

MEET is based on the dialogic education of Paulo Freire (1996) and the theatrical games of Augusto Boal (2014) and was conceived by a transdisciplinary team formed by three performing artists Adilson Doniseti Ledubino, Letícia Rodrigues Frutuoso and Nadia Morali; by four physicians, Marco Antônio Carvalho Filho, Flávio César de Sá, Venâncio Pereira Dantas Filho and Marcelo Schweller, and by one dancer and pedagogue, Márcia Strazzacappa, all of whom graduated (undergraduate and postgraduate) at the State University of Campinas/Unicamp and all of them have been working for over fifteen years with the aforementioned methodology inside and outside the institution. This group was joined by the actor Dirceu de Carvalho and the physicians Thiago Santos, Jamiro Wanderley and Tatiana Ozahata.
